Conventions aren’t a waste of time. They’re made for the gamers to get first looks on heavily anticipated games and they’re overall for fun. Video games are for fun. Yeah, the ultimate goal for big name publishers is to make money, but that doesn’t mean nerd sex and having thousands of fans show up to get pumped about upcoming games is a waste of time. It makes it all the worthwhile. And after SO much time has been “wasted” developers make up for lost time so that there are no delays.
Khail can suck my dick were hutch and sark?
@HarryMonsterMovies IT IS ABOUT SWAG U FUCK
@rindotheraven Why thank you. It’s all about the money, because the game developers want people to be excited about their game, so they will buy it, and they want customers to be satisfied with it so that people will buy more from their company cause people will think “Oh, this company! They made that awesome game! I want more from them, and I can’t wait for their next game!!”
no hutch? looks like this will be fair
@HarryMonsterMovies u r super smart
I think conventions are for game developers to get feed back about their game so they can improve or fix any problems, and to get people psyched up about the game so more people will buy it and pre-order it.
problem with Sean’s argument is that all of the planning and stuff for their booths wtc is done by PR, or some department besides the programmers. so the only thing that can take time away is making demo versions, which most companies don’t even make, and if they do, it isn’t anything big. so it wouldn’t take enough time to delay a game…
