Amazon says it is in stock but that’s a lie. They estimate it will be in stock 9/20. If I knew this upfront I wouldn’t have payed for express shipping or I might have bought it some were else.

This is my first experience with a mouse with adjustable weights. Admittedly, I’m parent not a gamer, so I can’t tell you how my frag rate has improved on Half-Life, but for everyday use this mouse is simply the most comfortable I’ve ever had. After many experiments with cordless (Bluetooth and IR) mice I’ve come to the conclusion that I prefer the cord - interference with other electronic devices is a problem in our house, and a corded mouse puts the kibosh on that. My only minor gripe is that the feel of the scroll wheel stepper is a little rough - it’s unselectable with a button just behind the wheel, and I have mine turned off, but I do slightly prefer the feel of stepping on the scroll sheel to match page up/down shifts in web browsers. Apart from that very minor complaint, though, this mouse is flawless. The weights make a real difference to the feel - I prefer deliberate movement, so I have all the max weights installed in the base. The left and right click buttons are smooth and cause no stress on my hand (compared with a Dell Bluetooth mouse which was giving me carpal tunnel due to the tremendous pressure required just to click).
Don’t be fooled by the “gaming” tag - this is about as good a mouse as you could ask for, for any application.

Got this for my dual boot (XP and Win7) system because Logitech’s new driver software does not recognize the older Logitech products I own when in Win7.
You can not install this on both systems in a dual boot environment.
The vertical scroll is too fast and can NOT be adjusted slower. No detent on scroll.
The vertical scroll takes too long to ‘wake up’ when switching to some apps and does not work at all for certain panels (like the lower pane of Windows Disk Management utility).
No feedback on DPI setting. No explanation of how to separately set (and monitor) X vs Y axes DPI setting when they are set separately.
Uninstalled and returned.

About 3 times thicker than cheaper mouse pads. Surface is very smooth and textured so that my mouse is very responsive.
